In this recurring flagship event, we create an approachable and relaxed discussion environment to build investing skills. By bringing a diverse set of startup ecosystem people together, we work to reduce the power and information asymmetry between founders and funders.

While you'll hear a founder pitch, it is only for the benefit of our discussion and isn't a solicitation for investment. Because this is an educational event, we also welcome participants regardless of their accreditation status or active investing role.

In this format, a founder will present their timely operational problem or strategic question. Yoko and Minda will facilitate the start of the conversation before opening the floor to the group for a constructive discussion.

You can expect the conversation to be topical — ranging from go-to-market strategy, business development, competitive analysis to recruiting and operational direction. By the end of the hour, the intent is for the founder to have some tactical takeaways. The following month, that founder will come back to report on progress, and we’ll dive in with a new founder + new topic/question.

Who should attend?
This is an exclusive LP event. We encourage all of our LPs to join. Even if you do not feel like an expert on a given topic, your questions and observations can contribute to the whole. Before the event, we will provide you with a short blurb about the company and the question they are seeking help with. No advance prep needed.
