At First Row, Kayla runs operational meetings, assists our founders, organizes events, and keeps the firm moving and expanding.
Kayla brings her strategy and operations expertise to First Row. She honed her skills for navigating fast-growing and dynamic organizations during her seven-year tenure at Flexport, where she worked on the Legal & Compliance team during rapid, international growth and scaling.
After earning a Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University in International Economics and International Affairs, she held operational roles in policy and research organizations. Her interest in venture capital began when she worked with an impact fund focused on Central America.
